Product feature

1. Broad-spectrum activities and can be used on various crops, vegetables etc.

2. An economic solution, used at very low rates for the control of Lepidoptera.

Its mode of action, spectrum of control and selectivity profile make it suitable for use in IPM (integrated pest management).

3. Lufenuron controls insects that are resistant to frequently used insecticides like organophosphates, carbamates and synthetic pyrethroids and so is useful in IRM (integrated resistance management).

4. Long duration

① The chemical solution can be sprayed on the leaves or eggs of crops to directly kill the eggs. More than 95% of the eggs laid by pests within 48 hours after spraying the insecticide could not hatch; Eggs laid within 10 days could not hatch normally.

② Although the adults (moths) cannot die after contacting the insecticide or eating the dew containing the insecticide, their egg laying capacity and egg hatching rate are significantly reduced, which can effectively reduce the insect source.

5. Highly effective insecticidal

After the pests contact with the medicament and feed on the leaves with the medicament, their mouths will be anesthetized within 2 hours, and they will stop feeding, so as to stop harming the crops and reach the dead peak in 3-5 days.

6. Low residue

Lufenuron is safe to use. In addition to low toxicity to fish and mammals, it is selective to most beneficial insects. It is safe for human beings, animals, crops and the environment, and is suitable for the comprehensive treatment of harmful and non-public hazards.

Product Introduction

Lufenuron is an an insect growth inhibitor for the control of Codling Moth and Leafrollers on Apples and Pears.

Lufenuron is the active ingredient in the veterinary flea control medication Program, and one of the two active ingredients in the flea, heartworm, and anthelmintic medicine milbemycin oxime/lufenuron.

Lufenuron is used to fight fungal infections, since fungus cell walls are about one third chitin.

Mode of action

Contact & stomach action

Lufenuron, inhibits the production of chitin in insects. Without chitin, Lepidopterans larvae will never develop a hard-outer shell (exoskeleton). With its inner organs exposed to air, the insect dies from dehydration soon after hatching or molting (shedding its old, smaller shell).
