Product Introduction

Hexaconazole is a unique systemic triazole fungicide, acting as protective, curative and eradicant with strong antisporulant and translaminar action. It is potent ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor. Ergosterol, a principal sterol in most fungi is an indispensable component in the membrane structures. First spray at the appearance of disease symptoms. Repeat spray at an interval of 7 to 10 days.

Mode of action

By inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis, it causes the fungal cell wall to collapse and inhibits mycelial growth. It can be used to control rice blight.

Target dieases

For control of various fungi, particularly ascomycetes and basidiomycetes, (e.g. Uncinula necator, Cercospora, Rhizoctonia). Also for the control of powdery mildew, rust, rice blast and scab.
