Product Introduction
Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl, a member of the aryloxy phenoxy-propionate class, is reported to be a grass specific-herbicide with contact and systemic action. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of fatty acid biosynthesis. This herbicide is used for the post-emergence control of perennial and annual grass weeds in a variety of crops such as potatoes, beans, barley, wheat and cotton.
Mode of action
Selective, systemic herbicide with contact action. Absorbed principally by the leaves, with translocation both acropetally and basipetally to the roots or rhizomes. Inhibits fatty acid synthesis (ACCase).
